Nicaragua is a Central American country located between the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea, known for its spectacular territory with lakes, volcanoes and beaches. The extensive Lake Managua and the iconic stratovolcano Momotombo are located north of the capital, Managua. To the south is Granada, which stands out for its Spanish colonial architecture and an archipelago of navigable islets with abundant species of tropical birds.
